The Bangladeshi community of the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region is set to experience what organizers describe as the largest and most spectacular open-air concert ever held for expatriate Bangladeshis in the area.
Aiming to bring an international-standard entertainment experience beyond the traditional community event format, the initiative is being led by chief planner Yusuf Khan Russell, chief coordinator Misti Sarkar, Sanju Chowdhury of Brightstar Entertainment, and renowned public relations specialist Dr. Piyali Roy.
Headlining the mega event will be internationally acclaimed Bangladeshi singer, songwriter, and music producer MUZA, one of the most recognized names in contemporary Bangladeshi music. Joining him on stage will be popular vocalist Protik Hasan and Shamir Mahmud, the rising star known for his success in the Channel i music competition Sera Kontho.
The event will also feature Naznin Ahmed, NTV news presenter and singer, who will make a special appearance. Representing the local music scene will be Washington-based Bangla rock band Kronedge, adding a homegrown flavor to the evening’s lineup.
The concert will take place at the world-class open-air venue Crescendo Studio, equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems, professional lighting, and giant LED screens. Organizers have emphasized that extensive security arrangements will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for attendees.
To address potential weather challenges, a hybrid backup plan has been developed, including an indoor stage and protective tarpaulin coverage. In another first for a DMV-based Bangladeshi concert, the entire event will be captured through aerial drone coverage, offering a unique visual experience for audiences both on-site and online.
The title sponsor of the event is HouseCalls Home Care.
Beyond entertainment, the organizers have announced a charitable component to the initiative. Fifteen percent of the event’s profits will be donated to support underprivileged and disadvantaged people in Bangladesh.
General admission tickets are priced at $30, while VIP tickets, which include reserved seating benefits, are available for $50.
For ticket purchases and additional information, community members are encouraged to visit desieventsgo.com.
Organizers say the event is expected to bring together music lovers from across the DMV region for an unforgettable evening celebrating Bangladeshi music, culture, and community spirit.
