The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has lifted its two-month travel ban on Lebanon, allowing Emirati citizens to visit the country once again after restrictions imposed over regional security concerns. The ban had been introduced amid heightened tensions following the conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
According to the UAE authorities, Emirati nationals planning to travel to Lebanon must first register with the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs before their departure.
The travel restrictions were originally announced on April 30, when the UAE cited security risks and suspended travel to Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq. At the same time, Emirati citizens already in those countries were urged to leave immediately and return home.
While travel to Lebanon has now resumed, the UAE continues to maintain its ban on travel to both Iran and Iraq.
Meanwhile, air connectivity between Tehran and Dubai has also begun to recover. Commercial flights between the two cities resumed on Monday for the first time since the outbreak of the regional conflict, signaling a gradual easing of transportation disruptions.
