Suchona Theatre’s “Amanush” Earns Widespread Acclaim at the 21st South Asian Theatre Festival

The acclaimed play Amanush, written by renowned Bangladeshi playwright Mamunur Rashid, was successfully staged at the 21st South Asian Theatre Festival in New Jersey. Produced by Suchona Theatre New Jersey and directed by Jannatul Tumpa, the production emerged as one of the festival’s most talked-about performances.

Held over two consecutive weekends, the international theatre festival brought together theatre companies and artists from across South Asia. Amanush was presented in two consecutive performances, both of which attracted enthusiastic audiences.
