The United States has conducted airstrikes against Iran for an 11th consecutive night, according to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
According to a CENTCOM statement, the strikes were aimed at reducing Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. military said the operation targeted:
Military operations centers
Naval bases
Fighter aircraft hangars
Drone storage facilities
Military logistics and supply infrastructure
CENTCOM also claimed that over the past three months, Iran has attacked more than 30 commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz, putting hundreds of sailors at risk and disrupting international maritime security.
The command stated that the Strait remains open to commercial traffic and said U.S. forces have helped escort around 900 commercial ships carrying approximately 450 million barrels of crude oil safely through the waterway since early May.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the cost of ongoing military operations has reached approximately $37.5 billion.

Iran Responds
Tehran warned that any attack on its nuclear facilities would trigger a broader regional conflict, threatening to expand military operations across the Middle East.
