Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has finally shared his views on Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’, praising both films in the franchise and the work of the entire team.
Shah Rukh is currently busy with his highly anticipated film ‘King’, directed by Siddharth Anand. The movie will mark the big-screen debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan, alongside a star-studded cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Anil Kapoor.
While several Bollywood celebrities had already praised ‘Dhurandhar’, Shah Rukh had remained silent about the film until now. He finally addressed the movie during a social media question-and-answer session with fans on Tuesday, September 15.
A fan asked the superstar directly, “Have you watched Dhurandhar?”
Shah Rukh replied that he had seen both installments and enjoyed them. “I really liked both parts. The entire team has done an amazing job,” he said.
Before Shah Rukh’s comments, several prominent Bollywood stars had publicly praised the film following its success. Actors and filmmakers including Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana, Riteish Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty, Preity Zinta, Hrithik Roshan, Anupam Kher and Rajkummar Rao had expressed their appreciation for the movie and its cast and crew.
Several leading stars from the South Indian film industry, including Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda, had also praised the film and its team.
Shah Rukh’s reaction had been particularly anticipated by fans, making his latest comments a notable addition to the growing list of celebrity responses to the franchise.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, ‘Dhurandhar’ was released in theaters on December 5, 2025. The film generated significant attention at the box office following its release.
The sequel, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, arrived in theaters on March 19, 2026, and went on to generate even greater box-office buzz.
