Bollywood star Salman Khan has revealed that he has lost 16 kilograms, addressing growing speculation about his health after recent public appearances sparked concern among fans.
The actor made the revelation while appearing as a special guest during the finale week of the Amazon Prime reality show Alliance, where he joined the programme to support his brother, Sohail Khan. A clip from the episode has since gone viral on social media.
During a light-hearted conversation, Sohail said he had lost 12 kilograms and proudly showed off his toned physique. Responding with a smile, Salman said, “I have lost 16 kilograms.”
The comment comes shortly after videos of Salman attending a Mumbai event organised by the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) prompted widespread discussion online, with some fans expressing concern over his appearance and apparent weight loss.
The episode also featured playful banter between Salman and actor Riteish Deshmukh. Joking during the conversation, Salman remarked, “I think Riteish Deshmukh’s job is in danger,” although the context behind the comment was not explained in the promotional clip.
Sohail also recalled an emotional moment during the show, saying he became so overwhelmed that he repeatedly kicked a storeroom door. Salman responded humorously by asking the contestants whether they had been putting too much pressure on his younger brother.
Salman and Riteish have shared a long-standing friendship, with Salman previously making a special appearance in Riteish’s directorial debut Raja Shivaji at his request.
Sohail Khan, who generally keeps his personal life out of the spotlight, has attracted renewed public attention through his participation in Alliance. Interest in the show increased further after his former wife, Seema Sajdeh, also appeared during the season.
Known for hosting Bigg Boss for many years, Salman took on a different role this time—not as a presenter or celebrity guest, but as a supportive elder brother cheering Sohail on during the competition’s final week. His appearance has been warmly received by fans.
