The incident took place during a political event at Rockland Community College in New York, organized in support of Republican Congressman Mike Lawler’s reelection campaign. A large number of supporters attended the rally, with media reports indicating that more than 5,000 people had registered for the event.
President Trump was addressing issues related to the economy, tax policy, and New York politics when a protester began shouting slogans in an attempt to disrupt the speech.
