ABARNY Announces New Leadership Committee

 

The Association of Bangladeshi American Realtors of New York (ABARNY), a professional organization representing Bangladeshi-American real estate professionals in New York, has announced its new leadership for the 2027–2028 term.

Following a vote by the organization’s Board of Directors, Sabbir Ahmed has been elected President, Nadir Khan as Vice President, Imran Bhuiyan as Secretary, and Naznin Mirza as Treasurer. Kazi Hossain, Kabir Munshi, Hasan Imam, and Towhidul Islam have been elected to serve on the new Board of Directors.

The organization stated that the newly elected committee will be formally inaugurated during ABARNY’s Annual Installation and Awards Ceremony, which is scheduled to take place later this year.

In addition, Towhidul Islam has been nominated as a Director through a selection process based on applications submitted by ABARNY members. The organization expressed its appreciation to all members who showed interest in serving as directors and encouraged their continued active participation in the future.

ABARNY’s founding members, Mohammad Kabir and Sakil Ahmed, along with current President Mohammad Rahman, will continue serving as advisors to the Executive Committee, providing guidance and support to the new leadership team.

In a statement, ABARNY President Mohammad Rahman congratulated the newly elected leadership and expressed confidence that the organization would become even more dynamic and stronger under their leadership. He said they would play an important role in advancing members’ professional development, fostering mutual cooperation, and continuing the organization’s commitment to community service.

He also called upon members, supporters, and the broader community to congratulate the newly elected committee and support them in their efforts to succeed.

Mohammad Rahman stated, “Together, we will continue strengthening our profession, working for the advancement of our members, and proudly serving our community.”
