Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran is currently engaged in a “full-scale war” with the United States and urged the Iranian people to prepare for any consequences arising from the conflict.
According to a statement released by the Iranian presidency on Monday (20 July), Pezeshkian said:
“The reality is that the Islamic Republic of Iran is now facing a full-scale war. Therefore, we must be realistic and be prepared to accept any natural and inevitable consequences of this resistance.”
His remarks come amid escalating hostility and geopolitical tensions between Tehran and Washington. The Iranian president emphasized that the country must remain steadfast in the face of external pressure and continue its resistance.
Pezeshkian’s comments underscore Iran’s determination to confront what it sees as U.S. aggression and signal that Tehran is prepared to endure the costs of the ongoing confrontation rather than yield to pressure.
