A rare albino buffalo with a striking crown of flowing blond hair has turned into an overnight internet celebrity in Bangladesh, drawing massive crowds of curious onlookers who insist the animal looks just like U.S. President Donald Trump. Weighing in at nearly 700 kilograms, the massive mammal was raised at a local farm in the Narayanganj district near Dhaka. It quickly earned its political moniker from the farm owner’s younger brother, who noticed that the tuft of pale hair cascading across the buffalo’s forehead perfectly mirrored the American leader’s iconic, trademark hairstyle.
The unusual beast has taken social media by storm, prompting dozens of eager visitors to travel from distant districts every day just to snap selfies and record videos with it. Farm owner Ziauddin Mridha shared that despite its imposing size and unique appearance, “Donald Trump” boasts an incredibly calm and gentle temperament, a typical trait for albino buffaloes unless they are directly provoked. To keep the celebrity animal in peak condition ahead of the Eid al-Adha festival, the farm staff provided a luxury routine that included four specialized meals and four refreshing baths every single day.
Albino buffaloes are exceptionally rare in Bangladesh, where livestock is overwhelmingly dark-skinned. The animal’s cream-colored body, distinctly pinkish nose, and long blond hair made it an instant standout among the millions of cattle prepared for the Eid sacrifices.
Naming exceptionally large or visually distinct animals after famous global celebrities has become a major viral trend among Bangladeshi farmers looking to attract buyers during the festive season. While “Donald Trump” served as this year’s ultimate crowd-puller, his time at the farm has already come to a close. The owner confirmed that the famous albino buffalo has successfully been sold and delivered to a customer for the traditional Eid holiday sacrifice.
