Trump Declares Iran Will ‘Never’ Obtain Nuclear Weapons

NEW YORK — U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a definitive warning regarding Iran’s nuclear ambitions, stating that Tehran will “never” be permitted to develop atomic weaponry. Speaking at a public engagement in New York, the President indicated that he expects the current geopolitical impasse to conclude in the near future.

“They know it, and we know it,” Trump said, underscoring his administration’s uncompromising stance on Iranian nuclear proliferation.

Economic Gains from Venezuela
The President also addressed the financial dynamics of U.S. foreign policy, specifically highlighting the role of Venezuelan oil in offsetting military expenditures. Trump claimed that the U.S. acquisition of oil from Venezuela has effectively recouped the costs of ongoing regional operations.

“How have we done in Venezuela? Not bad,” Trump remarked. “We have taken so much oil from Venezuela that it has covered the costs of the conflict with Iran nearly 25 times over.”

Assessing the Cost of Engagement
The President’s comments arrive amid heightened global scrutiny regarding U.S. military operations against Iran. According to official data from the Pentagon, U.S. military spending directed toward the conflict with Iran had reached approximately $29 billion by the beginning of this month.

However, independent analysts and defense observers have suggested that the total expenditure—including logistics, naval deployments, and regional support—may significantly exceed the Pentagon’s official figures. The remarks have sparked further debate within international policy circles about the economic sustainability of sustained regional military engagement.
