IT Lab Solutions Limited, one of the country’s leading information technology service providers, successfully organized a seminar titled “Introduction to Industrial IT Sector: Skills, Standards & Expectations” at Sylhet International University on Monday, 27 April 2026.

The seminar provided participating students with a comprehensive and data-driven understanding of the skills, qualifications, and practical preparation required to establish themselves in the professional ICT sector. The session also included detailed discussions on the various fields within the IT industry, workplace structures, organization-based career opportunities, and current market demands in today’s technology-driven environment. In addition, the internship process, skill development programs, and employment opportunities offered by IT Lab Solutions Limited were presented in detail.

As a special feature of the event, an online quiz competition was arranged, where the top ten participants were recognized with prizes. Following the presentation session, an interactive question-and-answer segment was held, allowing students to receive valuable guidance regarding their career-related concerns.

The welcome address was delivered by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of Sylhet International University, Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Alam. The Treasurer of the University, Professor Nitai Chandra Chand, was also present at the event. The seminar received overall support from Associate Professor and Dean of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Khaled Hossain, along with Assistant Professor and Head of the Department, Md. Omar Faruk Jahangir.

Representing IT Lab Solutions Limited, Finance Director Aktaruzzaman Chowdhury Litu attended the seminar. The session was conducted by Senior Software Engineer Mridul Kanti Bhattacharya and Senior Software Engineer Debajyoti Chowdhury, while Sales and Marketing Executive Ruhul Amin Sabuj provided overall coordination support. The event was hosted by Samia Rahman, a student of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Distinguished faculty members from various departments were also present and contributed to the success of the program.
The seminar concluded successfully with a formal vote of thanks extended to all distinguished guests, participants, and organizers.
