Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has said that the United States will no longer find any “safe haven” in the Middle East.
In a message posted on his Telegram channel on Tuesday (May 26), he made the remarks, marking one of his few public statements since assuming office in March.
In his Eid-ul-Azha message, Khamenei said that the United States is gradually losing its influence in the region and is moving further away from its previous position day by day.
He also suggested that Washington’s regional power is steadily declining, with its presence becoming increasingly weaker across the Middle East.
Meanwhile, as part of ongoing discussions on a possible ceasefire and agreement with the United States, Iran has reportedly sent Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to Qatar for diplomatic talks.
