A shocking mass shooting took place at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Union Township, New Jersey, leaving at least six people wounded. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM on Saturday night when multiple masked gunmen reportedly stormed into the restaurant, forced their way behind the counter, and opened fire.
Dramatic dashcam footage shows at least one masked suspect fleeing the scene while holding a handgun. Customers and employees inside the restaurant were seen running for safety as chaos erupted.
According to 911 audio, one victim was found unconscious after being shot in the face, while others suffered gunshot wounds to their legs. Several employees are believed to be among the injured.
Police and emergency responders arrived quickly and secured the area, launching an active investigation. Authorities have not yet confirmed any fatalities.
A relative of one employee described the scene as a “war zone” after rushing to the location following a distress call. A nearby Lyft driver reported hearing at least seven gunshots while passing through the area.
No arrests have been made so far, and authorities have not released details about the suspects. The investigation remains ongoing.
